AKA THE MOST TERRIBLE SUPERHERO EVER
Or better yet, the ‘bullshit’ superhero.
From what I’m calling her, she’s really bad at being a good guy. She messes up a lot and ends up breaking more laws while trying to enforce them. Jonesy is completely convinced she is a vigilante of justice endowed with the ability of elasticity. Only part of that is true. She’s just a nut with superpowers. It’s surprising that she actually alludes the police on several occasions, but they see her more of a pest that’s destructive (they have to babysit the idiot).
She gained her ability of elasticity in a horrible accident in her childhood that involved a field trip, a tank of radioactive sludge, and a childhood rival. In a twist of fate, Jonesy is left a freak who’s hair falls out and the childhood rival ends up being a hero for ‘trying to stop her from falling in’. She was cursed to continue the 4th grade bald and admits her hair didn’t grow back to a normal standard until the middle of 6th grade. That led to many embarrassing photos in the family album and constant teasing at recess. From this, Jonesy learned to ‘nut up or shut up’ and put an end to the teasing by kicking one of her assailants in the nads and gave him the finger.
She received detention for the next week.
Jonesy became a delinquent, loudmouth, and a badass in her own mind. She discovered her superpowers while trying to reach the tv remote that was too far away and she didn’t want to get off the couch. She freaked out when she couldn’t get her arm back to its normal length and hit with the sudden realization of her life:
She was meant to be a superhero.
After many weeks of trying to get used to her powers, she packed her bags and ran away from home to save the world and rid it of crime.
She’s currently 19, in a studio apartment, and in-between small jobs. She’s part-time help by day, but at night
She’s a superhero.
